Wine Tasting Dinner

Wortley Hall is teaming up with our wine merchant, Le Bon Vin, to bring you a fantastic night of food and wine.

Join us for a succulent five course meal prepared by our head chef, with each course accompanied by a perfectly matched wine from Le Bon Vin. To view the menu for this event click here.

At the start of each course a detailed description will be given to help you appreciate the subtle nuances of the grape and flavours of each wine.

Tickets priced at £29.95 per person, with a £10.00 deposit required at the time of booking. Please call reception on 0114 288 2100 to book your ticket for the event. Take advantage of our special B&B room rate of only £30.00 per person, exclusive to guests of the wine tasting dinner.

Walk & Dine with Wortley Hall

Upcoming dates: 10th & 30th May, 13th & 28th June, 11th & 26th July, 9th & 29th August, 13th September

Enjoy a summer evening guided walk with the one of our Gardeners around Wortley Hall’s grade II listed Italianate gardens. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the gardens history and the developments which are now taking place. Following this you will then retire to the Courtyard restaurant to finish off the evening with a three course dinner.

Tickets are £21.50 per person, and a non-refundable Deposit of £10.00pp is required at the time of booking. Please provide Wortley Hall with your meal choices 14 days before arrival. Please note sturdy footwear is required as some areas are not paved.

Specialist Plant Fair

Join us between 10am and 4pm on Sunday 5th June 2011 at Wortley Hall gardens. The specialist plant fair is held within the grounds of Wortley Hall and offers the keen gardener a chance to buy plants from a number of specialist nurseries. Plants such as geraniums, clematis, alpines, herbaceous, violas, herbs, shrubs, grasses, ferns and much, much more.

South Yorkshire Festival
